I was the City Assessor for the city of Worcester, Massachusetts until I retired in July 2009. My responsibilities included the valuation of 50,000 real estate parcels and personal property accounts. The combined taxable valuation of the real and personal property exceeded $12 billion. The Massachusetts Department of Revenue recognized my accomplishments regarding the discovery of personal property assets and published its description in their April 2009 edition of "City and Town."
