November 4, 2022 - Friday - Judy is visiting her sister in northern California so I decided to visit the Edward-Dean Museum in Cherry Valley, CA to get myself out of the house. The beautiful building was built in 1957 and the museum opened its doors in 1958. The museum features late 16th to early 19th century European & Asian Decorative Arts. Their latest revolving exhibit is called "Between the Pages: The Wonder of Books."
This is a copy of the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
This is a wonderful museum and they always do a fantastic job curating their revolving exhibits.
Before the museum I had brunch at Clarkie's Diner in Yucaipa and today I went on the sweet side.
I had their plain waffle with strawberries and whipped cream and drizzled with maple syrup. Delicious!
