November 26, 2009 - Thanksgiving Day - We just moved into our new home last month and we're excited about it. However, we don't have a kitchen and it's Thanksgiving. So we decided to go see Joshua Tree National Park since neither one of us have been there before. It is amazing to see this park for the first time!
This is the San Andreas fault seen from the Keys View Lookout, elevation 5,185 feet.
We loved it but, it was Thanksgiving and no one had invited us to dinner and we didn't have a kitchen. So our Thanksgiving dinner for 2009 was served to us at the local Denny's Restaurant. While the food was edible, it was probably the sorriest Thanksgiving dinner that we have ever had.
