May 6, 2020 - Wednesday - As we continue to be somewhat limited in our adventures during the Coronavirus lockdown, today we stayed local again by taking a hike in Redlands. Our trail for the day is called "The Terrace," and it's located just to the west of the University of Redlands and north of Interstate 10. It is maintained by the Redlands Conservancy. The Terrace is the straight line path in the center of the picture below.
We started on the east end and walked west. It's only a mile back and forth.
The entire south side is almost all lavender.
Although the roses were a little bit past their prime, the fragrance was wonderful.
There are some beautiful homes on the south side of the trail.
It is a very easy walk and a very relaxing one as well.
